About Big Star Shoes

Big Star Shoes is a Polish brand that has been present on the market for over 20 years. It has a mono-brand online store where it offers footwear and accessories in the urban style to its retail customers. The customers are mostly women, but the product range also includes many products for men and children. The brand has many loyal customers who appreciate it for its timeless products, but many of them decide to buy footwear from other, multi-brand e-commerce stores. Our goal as a digital agency was to build an even more committed community around the brand and increase footwear sales at the bigstarshoes.pl mono-brand online store.

 

Strategy first

The Big Star Shoes brand was already present on Instagram when we initiated our joint activities in the digital channel. We started by preparing a strategy for the presence of the brand in the digital channel, where the primary objective was to increase the recognisability and awareness of the brand and form an engaged community around it, which will be interested in the latest offers and will regularly purchase the products offered by the brand.

 

Unique InstaStories

To achieve the individual objectives, we regularly created and implemented engaging InstaStories on the channel of the Big Star Shoes brand. We followed the latest trends, but we made sure that our stories seem genuine, natural, interesting, unique and, most importantly, aligned with the strategy of the brand and the target group.

 

User-Generated Content

Our activities also included the model of cooperation based on User-Generated Content, which allowed us to acquire interesting content from the users and share them through InstaStories. The stories created this way have increased the number of engaged followers.

 

Sales improvement

To reach potential customers and make them more interested in shopping in the online store, we used InstaStories as ad placement. Sponsored content was displayed in the full-screen format, between the InstaStories of other users.

 

Referring the users to the store of the brand

To present the offering of the store to the group gathered around Instagram, we incorporated product tags directly in InstaStories. By referring the audience to the place where they can buy products of the brand and finalise the transaction, we created a potential conversion path.

 

Effects

Our ephemeral activities, consistently aimed at making a purchase, have turned out to be one of the key aspects of the e-marketing strategy of the Big Star Shoes e-commerce. In the case of this client, our use of the tools available on Instagram has increased the number of engaged followers and allowed the brand to further stimulate online sales and generate profits.
