Linear Regression Algorithm

Linear Regression performs the task of predicting the value of a dependent variable (y) based on a given independent variable (x). Therefore, this regression technique is used to find a linear relationship between x (independent variables) and y (dependent variables). Hence it is called linear regression.

Let's suppose, In the previous figure, suppose X (independent variable) is work experience and Y (dependent variable) is a person's salary.
