Bessie by the Bay

The inspiration for this design came from..... Tessie! You guessed it. If you haven't heard of Tessie, it is the mythical Loch Ness looking creature rumored to live in Tahoe. For this craft beer label design I reimagined Tessie's long lost cousin Bessie. Drawing on the Pushkin style with bright bold colors I laid out the bay with the sun rising across the crisp blue Bay. Since this beer is a West Coast IPA I designed a shaggy coat of hops for Bessie as if it had its winter coat on!

If you notice on the final label, the left hill features the iconic Coit Tower of SF while the right hill features palm trees and the Santa Monica ferris wheel as a subtle nod to our collaboration partners, Ogopogo Brewing of LA.
