Dante's 700th Anniversary
Tomorrow marks the 700 Anniversary of Dante Alighieri's Death. To celebrate it, I did an emblem and other stuff.
There are no actual live portraits of Dante, although his supposed profile is highly recognizable, at least in Italy. Nevertheless, probably this is a cultural reference that cannot be universally understood.
I designed this crest as part of a packaging project for a commemorative edition of wine bottles, hence the cup allusion.
