Sentir Aromatic Candles

Personal project: Sentir is an aromatic candle brand that aims to take you on a walk down memory lanes by creating a series of aromas inspired from special, albeit somewhat banal, occasions in life; that perfectly recognizable scent of the pavements after the rain, the pleasant evening breeze as you take a slow night stroll after a tiring day at work, or the sticky yet fresh ocean smell surrounding you as you lay your back on a warm sand under the hot summer sun. The word 'sentir' itself is taken from the french word meaning 'to sense'. The logo and packaging design pay homage to elusive nature of scent and its prevailing power to summon even the haziest of our memories, and takes us once back almost to the exact moment, reliving a time that has long past, placing us in a calm trance
