Native is the champion of student experiences. A multi-award winning platform bringing exciting content and brands onto campus whilst providing students with event recommendations, new experiences and exclusive experiences off-campus.

With limited design and development time we needed to update the checkout experience. At the core Native wanted us to improve the UX to allow for new functionality of multi-basket purchases, as well as create a more modular feel to accommodate future changes to the checkout process. From our side, we wanted to keep the UI as clean as possible, while also adding an interesting flair that is quick to implement.

We simplified what was previously a 2 column layout into 1 column, enabling customers to quickly vertically scan the items in their bag and progress to payment. We created modular cards for each substantial section of the process, which will allow us to easily know how and where to add or remove parts to the checkout experience. Lastly we utlised a Native 'ticket' graphic in either corners of the page to instil the visual excitement and represent the fun they seek as a result of buying their tickets.
