A Typical Dutch View
Here's something I designed a while ago, but still wanted to share with you anyway. When I started this, I wanted something typically dutch. But not as far that it would border on cliché. With that in mind I used the typical architecture (Art Nouveau) of my hometown Nijmegen as a starting point and added some famous and depressing dutch weather as well as our favourite form of transportation.
As a matter of fact, this is a scene I come across every day here in Nijmegen. It might look like a depressing scene at fist, but rusty bicycles, rainy weather and the architecture are what make The Netherlands such a beautiful and interesting place to live in!
