Durango Custom Chrome Emblem

I decided that it just wasn't fair that unlike the Chargers and Challengers out there, I couldn't just order an old script chrome emblem for my new Durango, since they obviously weren't around back then.

So I designed the script, my buddy Rob de la Cretaz laser-cut it out of ¼" acrylic like a boss, and then I painted it with a gloss black layer followed by a layer of Krylon premium chrome paint.

Now we wait to see if this bad boy will hold up to the elements at all after the paint cures, I don't know, next year some time? :)

If this goes well, I see a lot of type/lettering/badgehunting nerds getting custom chrome badges for their cars that may not have lived in an age when car badges had some serious class.
