This work is a commissioned illustration to modernize the traditional Gadsden, "Don't Tread On Me" coiled snake flag.
The origin of this adaptation is rooted in the historical sense and use of the concept, namely, the American Revolution.
Also, it was a fun project because rattlesnakes are awesome. No other personal beliefs, political affiliation, or meaning is intended or implied. The end.
