Hanging by a Thread | Earth Day 2021

The Earth is hanging by a thread, but we can save it from falling. We just have to start taking action. I wanted to take the saying "hanging by a thread" and translate it into an Earth Day poster. I used lots of blues and greens because they are commonly associated with Earth Day. The overall design is meant to be reminiscent of other Earth Day posters, but with a slight twist. Because of the frayed rope, the hands that would normally be seen holding up the rope are now seen as hands there to catch it in case it falls (and help it recover). Dark, but hopeful.
