Things Grow Better

I don't know what you've heard about North Carolina, but when Spring hits, it blooms! So much so, that the North Carolina Museum of Art hosts the very popular 'Art in Bloom' which showcases art of locals who make masterful floral designs and arrangements to celebrate the spring season. This design of mine was apart of a series of t-shirt designs apart of a project called Bretagne and Detritus. Intended for little girls, this mixed media design incorporates ink, watercolor, and digital platforms. I was inspired not only by the lush scenery outside my window, but by the vast contrast of seasons between my native Florida and my transplanted Carolina.
