Bauhausinteriors landing page animation
Dear friends,
The main idea and concept of the style are reflected in a straightforward phrase of Walter Gropius: “Each object must fully meet its purpose, that is, fulfill its practical functions, be comfortable and beautiful.”
The German avant-garde style has become one of the most influential trends in modern architecture and design, the echoes of which can be traced in such directions as minimalism, modern and high-tech. The main thing I was chasing down - to present this style and website to the end customers in the most straightforward way!
😱Problem
The client came to me with a widespread issue - reskin and refreshed the existing website’s old design. But when I dig deeper, I realized that the end-users couldn’t get an idea why they should buy it without a previous understanding of what this Bauhaus is about. So we decided to explain on the home page more details and why they should choose this e-com store to order a piece of furniture.
Goal: The client’s goal was to refresh the website and get more sales. My goal was to lead the end client from the Hero section, which happy face to the checkout. That’s why I started with an explanation of what it is all about. The next thing was to reflect the same vibes as it does the Design school of Bauhaus. I created a mood board, and it was exactly what I wanted to see as a final result.
❤️Solution
Bauhaus is about this “Each object must fully meet its purpose, that is, fulfill its practical functions, be comfortable and beautiful.” Based on that, I decided in the fruitful collaboration with my client to build the website. So every block has informational content and visually reflects the overall style of the furniture and interior direction. It’s a whole concept that explains what it is, where you can use it, how it will combine with other things, and why you should have it. No red buttons “BUY IT NOW.” All people are smart buyers, so let’s talk to them in their language but tell the truth.
