Unit 40: Advance Art Practice Studies

Unit 40: Advanced Art Practice Studies was a challenging project which turned into an enjoyable project throughout the process. The theme behind this project was focused on Ebrington Curtains which were left behind when the soldiers left Northern Ireland in the early 2000s. The aim of the project was to create a fashion or textile piece with the Ebrington Curtains. I had done a mix media piece focusing on print and embroidery for the final outcome. My prints were inspired by World War I & II and my Great Grandfather's legacy serving in the war. My prints were also influenced by Textile Designer Michael Brennan Wood.
