Vines Village Door Art

The wonderful team at The Vines Village Cafe in Blenheim asked me to come down to their wonderful part of New Zealand and create a mural on their front door.

In Te Reo the area known as Blenheim is 'Te Waiharakeke' - The waters of flax. Wai being water and Harakeke being the specific type of flax plant growing in the region I created a flowing pieces of art that swooped up the door incorporating both the water and Harakeke.

The mural was completed by hand using Molotow Markers.
