Daoor - Recycling UI App

The idea of this startup brand derived from Indonesia's current recycling problem, where most of the waste disposal is still very dependent on the use of landfills, which has been an ongoing issue since 1986. At the same time, there's an increased amount of plastic and marine waste in Indonesia each year, and despite government solutions and other campaigns done by the public, there's little to no effect towards the impact of it, and the numbers will keep increasing.

Therefore, I came up a solution to create one of Indonesia's first recycling startup, Daoor, which came from the Indonesian word 'Daur', in the context of 'Daur Ulang', or 'To Recycle' in Indonesian.

The basic concept for this startup is to create awareness in many ways as possible in order for citizens in Indonesia to realize that recycling needs to be done in an everyday basis, such as having better recycling infrastructure, education, and integrated applications through UI and UX design, followed by having visitor centers in order to let people learn the importance of recycling.
