Living Well Storybook 2020: May's Story

I didn't meet May, or know what she looks like. She was described to me as someone who is warm, soft and creative.
This book has a calm, dignified and warm feel. The biggest challenge from this brief was finding a way of giving these people the space for their stories to have impact and strength. Accessibility and an avoidance of any kind of visual triggers was something that was regularly reviewed, leading to a light, warm palette, consistent layouts and soft, fluid watercolours.
