Mochitsuki Bros.

It doesn’t mean that the two guys are hammering a barrel of wine.
This is a traditional Japanese celebration called “mochitsuki” and we eat the rice cakes called “mochi” in the New Year.
“Mochitsuki” is a traditional cooking method in which steamed glutinous rice is placed in a barrel-shaped container called “usu” and repeatedly pounded and kneaded.
Incredibly, a skilled craftsman of “mochitsuki” pounds the rice cake with a hammer-shaped tool called “kine” at a speed of 180 times per minute.
Do you think it is impossible?
Okay, Search for “mochitsuki” on YouTube then!
