A few weeks ago, I got an email from my friend with an idea to start a movement. After her younger daughter was being teased by some boys in her eldest daughter's school, she came up with a brilliant idea to teach kids about inclusion….in a FUN way. Enter: The Awesome Advocates. Superheroes that speak up for themselves—and others.

I helped bring her idea to life by creating this postcard and designing an Awesome Advocates symbol that kids can pin onto their shirts to channel their inner superhero.
