WKNDR Art in Progress
Hey dribbbdribbbs,
Here’s art in progress for my friends in WKNDR. I continue to travel down the roads of grit and grain. Even though it's sort of weird to do when you stop and think about it, I love simulating printing. I love limiting my amount of colors — I love pretending that I have a limited amount of inks to choose from. I guess it's all in an attempt to channel some warmth.
I read somewhere that it’s often the imperfections of any given media that end up being adored and exploited. Originally distortion on an electric guitar wasn’t considered a feature, but a bug of tube amps! But people love their bugs, and bugs turn into features, and the world keeps on spinning.
