National Grinch Day

Happy Grinch-mas and Happy Who-lidays! Yes, you read that right: GRINCH-MAS! It’s an annual holiday tradition inspired by the classic Dr. Seuss story, How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The holiday encourages you to “grow your heart three sizes” through the celebration of family reading, giving from the heart and community spirit!

HOW TO CELEBRATE:

• GOOD DEEDS - The story doesn’t have to end at the last page. Make up some of your own Grinch Good Deeds and practice the giving spirit for the next 25 days.

• GRINCH YOUR DAY - Read the classic book or watch one of the many versions of the Grinch. Our kids adore the baby grinch from the 2018 Dreamworks version. I love the costumes of the people of Whoville, and Elizabeth loves the classic 1966 version.

• SET YOUR DVR - You can catch Tony Award winner (and Glee Star) Matthew Morrison in The Grinch Musical, December 9th on NBC. This is the same musical that we saw on Broadway back in 2006 with Patrick Page (from Hadestown) as the Grinch!
