The child

This was a weirdly long process. I set up everything to prep the file and was ready to start mid-summer but then wasn't inspired to work on it and since I've never done a "realistic" illustration of something not human I didn't really even know if it would work the same. Fast forward to October, Mandalorian is getting ready to come out and someone close to me who loves star wars passed and it was really cathartic to spend some time living in the fantasy world for a bit. This one went by much easier than I thought it would be and it was a lot of fun!
This was done completely in illustrator with the use of a wacom.
