Fantasy gouache female portrait illustration painting

A surprise portrait painting as a gift for my cousin for the past few days. I’ve been thinking about the concept of illustration for a while and decided to do it in semi-realism, with medieval portraits / old masters vibes, but not so stylized.
I worked with gouache on watercolor paper with a little bit touches of colored pencils in some details.
