Did you know that Bridge Day is not actually a celebration of bridges? It is actually a celebration of BASE jumping. Who knew???

Unfortunately, the annual Bridge Day festival in Fayetteville, West Virginia has been canceled this year due to the pandemic . . . instead they will be celebrating with a Virtual Bridge Day festival on their website. BASE jumping not your thing? Why not celebrate actual bridges instead!?! Here are a few ideas:

• Watch a classic bridge movie, such as Bridge on the River Kwai, the Bridges of Madison County, or Spice World! Seriously!!! The Spice Girls jump across the #TowerBridge in their Double Decker Bus!!!

• Rewatch and sing along to the Judds music video, "Love Can Build a Bridge."

• Read Billy Goat's Gruff to your kids. My daughter's have never heard it before! Time to break out my old story books.
