Lil Empire 2020

The owners of Lil Empire Burger had a clear vision and a distinct sense of humour for the art direction of the illustrations to be framed and mounted in their new location in Calgary, AB.
Multiple sketches, themes and ideas were brainstormed until we landed on the 'space wars' direction. They are sharing their space with a popular local ice cream shop, Made By Marcus, and wanted to include them and their delicious treats while keeping the focus on the burger characters.

The opening of the restaurant was a complete success and the reception of the artwork has been overwhelming. The public are constantly sharing selfies, pictures and videos over social media featuring the artwork.
