Right in the Eye Unused Concepts

These are concepts we went through during the process of creating key art for a series entitled Right in the Eye back in the fall. It was a challenging one to get the mood right without being to scandalous or unnecessarily promiscuous. We wanted it to feel devious but at the same time church appropriate. Honestly we had another 10 or 15 unused concepts that were a lot farther from finished than these, but it's all part of the pipeline of creating artwork for a series. Where we landed on the final ended up being the most clear which is why we went with it.
