JIA T-Shirt Design

This client had a two year old son who, after months of pain and swelling, had no known cause or diagnosis. Undergoing various tests, he was later diagnosed with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) and provided a treatment plan, moving forward.

As a means to spread awareness, the client wanted to have a t-shirt designed for both her and her son. A sentimental continuous line drawing was created, resembling a mother’s eternal love for her child. The front of the shirt had ‘JIA mum’ on one and ‘JIA warrior’ on the other. The back of the shirt also provided a brief insight to what the term JIA means, to reinforce the awareness message.
