Pei approached me in the summer of 2015 to redesign their existing brand and app design. Together, we started working right away on the new branding and finding a language that gives the user trust but has also a light and playful feel to it.

We dove into wireframing the app, focusing heavily on how to improve the current flow and making it easier to create and share bills, including a recommendation system that suggests the most common bills created. A visual style guide was set up based on our branding experience. The main focus of the user experience was simplicity, so that even when I am at a busy restaurant with my friends I can create a new bill with ease without a long interruption of my social time.

The app launched recently in Sweden with a five-star rating.
