07 | Jorja Smith — Lost & Found

Jorja, oh Jorja... What did we do to deserve you? This album is just a fucking gem. I got to know Jorja's music a while ago, and when she announced her debut album I was very excited because her musical style was something that I easily connected to because of the remarkable talent she has. Each song in Lost & Found is elegant and sophisticated, as if all the production had been recorded during a superb cabaret performance. In fact, the composition of each theme is quite cinematographic, something that can be easily perceived in the adaptation of the music videos of the singles of the album. Pure art. Figuratively, I like to imagine that this album is a journey in which the sound envelops and elevates you to make you fly among clouds of a cozy sunset where ballads and a neosoul that overflows pure passion prevail. A beautiful production from beginning to end.

Fav tracks: Teenage Fantasy, Where Did I Go?, February 3rd, Blue Lights and Wandering Romance
