Mount Athos

A site dedicated to the study and promotion of the history, culture, arts, architecture, natural history, and literature of the Orthodox monasteries of Mount Athos.

The colour palette was chosen to reflect the Greek landscape. Using a serif font for headings tied back to the traditional feel of the monasteries. The broken grid layout draws the eye round the site.
