MyScoot - Onboarding and Recommendations

Hello friends! Here's something I worked on a while back: The onboarding flow for MyScoot, an interest-based local events app.

The Landing Screen was made with the goal to create some FOMO and Social Proof among new users. An auto-scrolling list of images from various MyScoot events is shown to create a feeling that they are missing out on a lot of fun.

The onboarding steps were designed to solve two key challenges - Personalisation & Education. New users are recommended a set of 3 events based on interests & location from where they are taken straight to an event page to educate them about events.
