So I use favoriting on Twitter as a "like" and also to save tweets. And there's plenty of times I've tried searching through my favorites to find a link or something someone said but to no avail. So I came up with an idea for a simple app that imports all your favorite tweets, allows you to search them and categorize them. I realize app's like Pocket do something similar but this simple idea imports all your favorited tweets and doesn't have a bunch of other features you don't need.

But, I'm a horrible developer and I can't find anyone to help, so I decided to offer it up the internet gods in hopes that someone will take it, make it, and make it better. So enjoy the free PSD and idea. Oh, and the domain favorite.it is already taken :(

Wow, I had a very similar idea, but expanded a bit. A service that takes all your twitter favorites, pocketed articles, and maybe like ebooks and collects them somewhere so you can read articles, books, and cool tweets/quotes. Unfortunately I, too, am a terrible developer :/ haha

Hey @Marco Suarez, I sent you an email (er... through Dribbble) but I'd love to chat about dev. I made a prototype for something similar a year ago and have been looking for an excuse to give it some love.

I do the same. Think it would be a great little app.

That's a great idea! I'd love to have something like that, since I often use my Twitter favorites as a kind of "look at this when I'm back at my desktop" read-later feature. Tweetbits looks cool, but it looks like it does too much for what I need - I'm tempted to hack this together when I've got a spare day or two :)

I do this with an IFTTT recipe which saves every tweet I favorite that contains a link to my Instapaper account.

If nobody else has jumped on this, I'd be happy to work with you to dev this together. Hit me up on twitter (http://twitter.com/jescalan), I'll fav your tweet, then we can get crackin.

I, along with a friend, actually built this exact thing: http://faavorite.com/

It was very, very involved: http://paynedigital.com/articles/2012/04/faavorite-tech-stack

@Harry Roberts super interesting! Sad to see you sunset it but I understand why.

@Marco Suarez Yeah, it became far bigger than two people could reasonably handle in their spare time. It was a big ol’ project. Also worth noting that the, err, ‘hostile’ nature of Twitter’s API policies made it a little difficult at times.
