Fat Rigatone

Fat Rigatone, is a heavyset, all-caps typeface primarily designed for bold, eye-catching headlines. The block lettering is best suited to printed publications such as, magazines, album sleeves, sport/athletic apparel & posters, with the added versatility of being a functional website ‘H1’.

The tapered edges are inspired by 3D geometry, they serve as an optical illusion adding dynamics to the flat lettering. A key area of focus in this project was the harmony of negative space both around and within the each letter & number.
