Insects of the World: Bumblebee

Be like the bee; “Sip life’s sweet moments, mind your own beeswax, create a buzz, be yourself, and always find your way home.”

A Procreate illustration inspired by the life of insects and the jobs it has to keep humanity alive. The Bumblebee is a unique flying insect, which helps pollinate flowers. Pollination is needed for plants to reproduce, and so many plants depend on bees or other insects as pollinators. When a bee collects nectar and pollen from the flower of a plant, some pollen from the stamens (the male reproductive organ of the flower) sticks to the hairs of her body.

Keep your eyes peeled for more hand drawn artistic design work! What creature/insect should we draw next?
