I really like @Will Froelich navigation refresh for hacker news. I took his navigation and updated the feed. I ordered mine in the way I surf hacker news.

Points, Comments, Title, Source, By, and When. I first look for posts with a good number of up votes and comments. Then I read what it's about. Once visited the link turns grey. One other thing that drives me crazy about the current design of hacker news, is how hard it is click the super small up arrow. In my refresh I made the up arrow larger and easier to click.
