Anglerfish
Another sketchbook drawing. As I continue exploring ink drawing, I am beginning to look back at the things that interested me a lot as a kid for inspiration. When I was in elementary school, I remember going to the Scholastic Books book fair and buying a book on deep sea creatures. I read the hell out of that book, but the most mesmerizing of all those creatures was the Anglerfish. Not only does it look like a Lovecraftian nightmare, it also lures in prey with its bioluminescent tendril that projects in front of its face. Incredible.
