Some times small projects are more fun.
This is a quick logo for a mom who's going to make jams, spreads, cakes, and pies using her family recipes, then sell them at a local Farmers Market. Her inspiration is the famous old tv series "Little House on the Prairie", thus the little girl with a bonnet. She wants a warm, vintage, sweet look. See attached the comp of the label on jar attached.
I created a black and white label design that will go on glass jars, that she can print easily using kraft label sheets that will be fed through her BW laser printer. Fonts for the product name and description are courtesy of Google fonts :-)

One glimpse and that 'Little House on the Prairie' came to mind (even before reading your description). Great series BTW. Love the simple and vintage look. Nowadays my head is too full with colorful, illustrative and digitized logos -- so looking at this one soothes my (visual) soul. ;)
One thing I'd do: making the crossed paddy(?) on the bottom less 'distorted'.
@Louis D. Wiyono Thanks, Louis! Yeah, I loved watching that series growing up :-) I treated the crossed wheat like that so that the logo isn't too tall & more compact. I had a version that doesn't have it, but the client liked it there.
Beautiful design. Settler's Spread made me think of Secretary Spread which made me chuckle.
@マイケル ローリー Ha ha, I had to look that one up.
