Continuing my month long celebration of Halloween with an illustrated countdown of my top 5 favorite Horror Movie icons!
Coming in at #2: Michael Myers AKA: The Shape from "Halloween"

Halloween was one of the very first Horror movies I ever saw as a kid behind Nightmare on Elm Street and Jaws. Michael Myers became an instant favorite, not only because we shared the same name, but because of his simplicity. The entire movie screamed simplicity from its lack of gore, to costume design and musical score. He moved like a shark on land, and his face was human, yet blank, showing no emotion, mirroring his consciousness of what he was doing. A classic movie I can watch again and again.

One icon left! any guesses who it is??

@Michael Anderson Awesome illustration and atmosphere! Michael Myers is one of my favorite horror movie characters as well.

Regarding your question: That’s a tough one. You already mentioned Nightmare On Elm Street, so I guess it could be Freddy Krueger. If it’s not Freddy, I guess it could be Leatherface.

Yeah, bring it on @Michael Anderson! Great illustration, you really captured the eery moment. Love horror movies! Especially the older ones.

I think you're drawing Jason Voorhees, Pinhead or Chucky! If not, I'm happy to see the characters @Thorsten Beeck pointed out.

    Good luck surprising us :)
