Made a little mockup for myself of how an iPhone would look with aluminum body and edge-to-edge screen.
Decided to share with you guys, and ask you:
Hot or not?
Выглядит приятно, интересное решение с динамиком/камерой
Solid aluminum home button is hot, so is the rest of it! But I'm pretty sure an edge to edge screen is not structurally practical with manufacturing techniques used these days, but don't hold me to that.
@Read Frost Think of it as a sort of a dream phone :)
I like the smooth back and front speaker @Anton Kudin
Love it. Edge-to-edge screen is worrisome with the current antenna material, though. I'm fine with a scratched phone — as long as the screen is immaculate.
This is simply gorgeous ... yes please one !!!
Hot! Only if Apple had the balls to do this idea of the edge to edge screen. Great work.
Nice one !!!
Where's the flashlight?
@Robbert Esser Never use it.
Now I'll finally have some use for that wallpaper! Thanks for showing this, haha. Also, that edge-to-edge design looks pretty awesome.
This edge-to-edge screen is damn hot :) I would add a little bit of depth to home button in the front view. Hope you will share a psd mock-up
@Patryk Pawłowski It's a 3d model, I haven't really retouched it (except for back, which turned out ugly in render). All the lights are actual light boxes in the scene.
But you changed the display aspect ratio!
That's not fun.
@NSElvis Hmm. It could appear so, but I tried to maintain current "tall" aspect ratio.
Camera looks like a hole for the strap and it's without flash! The back cover looks too plastic due to the glare. The rest - well done. And yes, nice decision with microphone and camera.
@JustD Yeah, I cheaped out on the back overall, I know. I've included it mostly to show that there IS a back and it's a little curved. :)
Thanks for critique!
@Anton Kudin Hot or not? Is that a joke? This is what I've always envisaged an iPhone to look like. HOT HOT HOT!!!
I love it. The camera at the center, the edge to edge screen and all of it. Except the bars on the screen, at first I thought you put them there as the speaker and mic. :P
