Drawing Grids [GIF]

I remember learning to draw a grid as a child. I would draw them for hours on end. No joke. I loved drawing grids.

More recently, I've been reading about Otl Aicher. Here I'm beginning a sketch of his famous grid used in creating icons for the 1972 Olympics. Kind of a square grid + right angle isometric grid in one.
