Tokyo 2020 poster concept

A poster concept I did for fun for Tokyo 2020. The soccer team represented by none other than the iconic soccer character Tsubasa Ozora. The illustration has been done traditionally in order to keep the edges of the brush strokes more spontaneous and raw. I tried to implement the sumi e technique into the illustration in order to promote the culture and art of Japan.

In case you are wondering what the japanese seal means, it says Skill :) I thought that would be appropriate for the character.
