Black Lives Matter

After about a week of working on this, I finally finished this illustration of Livia Rose Johnson and other protesters at the Black Lives Matter protest in New York (reference photo taken by New York photographer, Jeremy Cohen). This powerful image captures just one of the many voices advocating for change in the United States and around the world.

I felt compelled to create this illustration (as well as signing petitions, donating and sharing information) to show my support for the Black Community. I believe change is coming and I am in awe of the overwhelming support that people of all backgrounds have been showing for the Black Community.
