Water Corporation "Splash of Colour" Mural

LYNTON STREET, MOUNT HAWTHORN - SPLASH OF COLOUR PROJECT: Just wrapped up an awesome project with the Water Corporation. Everything was under wraps until the Minister for Water, Dave Kelly and MP and Perth MLA John Carey had a chance to go to the site and share the project.

Loved every minute of this mural, it pushed me to learn new things - I plastered the building first - all 41sqm of it. (Never sell yourself short on what you can achieve even if it is bloody hard work! The finished piece wouldn’t have been the same without that step so the pain and scars were totally worth it!) The whole piece was inspired by my walks around Lake Monger, observing the Great Easter Egret. They’re such patient birds, taking their time, waiting for the right moment so go for what they want. Not a bad life lesson. 😉
