The Barking Barber - Branding Exploration

I felt incredibly creative when the idea of a dog grooming place named "The Barking Barber" popped into my head a few days ago! Well, of course I wasn't the first person to come up with this - as a quick google search showed.

BUT I was in the mood for creating a fun, playful and, most of all, likeable identity for such a place. Real project or not - it was a lot of fun!

Of course I had to include a dog (otherwise, hungry people could read 'the baking barber' - also an appealling business idea...). And I wanted to mix the dog with a comb or brush to make sure the little mark wouldn't look too generic. The colours came naturally to me, I guess it was more personal taste than anything else but that's the beauty of a personal project, am I right?

So who thinks I should pitch this branding exploration to one of the existing dog 'barbers'? Maybe it could be more than just some fun ours spent on a design for Dribbble.
