Crown Pattern Illustration

Last week's word for my illustration series was "Crown of Knowledge" to which I was like...ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm okkkkkk??? I decided that I'd make a custom pattern of line art, a style that I love working in. I imagined this being used in a children's university as a mural or the insert of a textbook. I tried to incorporate school icons like books and math symbols, as well as ones that represent wisdom like the owl. I also wanted to show items that represent growth since that is what learning is all about. Looking forward to doing next week's illustration!
