Toyota - Animated Commercials

I thought this old job fell into oblivion, but apparently it was released at some point! I just found out earlier today after deciding to Google it haha.

I was responsible for the design of the first two spots (Area 52 and the Super Hero one). The third one, appropriately named “Backseat Soiree” was a collaborative effort between myself and Audrey Lee >> http://audreyjl.com

The additional concepts in the attachments were from unused ideas. One involved a meteor crash landing on a car and becoming a car…alien...thing. Another was about a car being driven off a pier and swallowed by a giant whale. The last one involved a car being the happy home of a bee hive.

All animation was done by the talented folks at Brand New School.
