MONTAG naming + branding + web design

Montag is a musical medium specialized in urban sounds, advanced electronics and Latin rhythms. The objective was to create a distinguishable platform that was not limited to the usual aesthetic parameters of musical magazines.

For naming we are inspired by Ray Bradbury's dystopian novel, which Truffaut later adapted for the cinema. Guy Montag, his protagonist character, represents in both works a healthy concern to cultivate his knowledge that, as far as possible, the medium intends to satisfy.

The aesthetic concept, both at the level of identity and in web design, aims to be an exercise in a minimalist style that is both avant-garde and functional, giving all the weight to a color as striking as red and applying distinguished resources such as distortion of the typography in the logo or the possibility of dragging the elements in the homepage.
