Pink Dream | A Photomanipulation Album Artwork

Originally a photo taken by a good friend of mine, this photomanipulation piece is centered around a mystical doorway in a beautiful field.

Working on methods such as blending and lighting, the addition of layer styling and colour corrections to create a dreamstate image of fantastical nature.

I felt that the particles floating up and the complementive pinks of the sky, door and flowers really tied up the surreal dreamlike aesthetic which I felt evoked emotions such as love; a theme found in songs by the band Defeater, whom were used as a placeholder logo.
