Propeller Design

We are looking for a Visual Designer to join our digital team in Stockholm.

As a Visual Designer at Propeller you will be working with cross-functional teams consisting of UX/UI-designers, industrial designers and developers.

You’ll be working with a wide range of clients, from large global companies to small start-ups, producing cutting edge design that’s both meaningful and inspiring.

Who you are:

You love solving design challenges, from pairing the perfect fonts to discovering the ideal animation curve.

You are very precise and strive for order, from the way you name layers to the way you build adaptable design systems, where a simple color change affects the whole system.

You are a curious and open individual who strives to make complex design look and feel simple.

You don’t use prestige as a method to communicate your ideas and you can provide critique just as well as you can receive it.

What we expect from you:

• Very strong knowledge in Sketch.
• Strong skills in Figma.
• Strong knowledge in design systems and creating responsive components.
• Experience working closely with developers and achieving smooth handovers.
• Strong knowledge in the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience prototyping your design (e.g. InVision or other relevant tools).
• Experience animating your UI design (e.g. Principle or other relevant tools).
• To be a master of the design process, from research to developing concepts and creating pixel perfect designs.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present ideas, guide and inspire clients.
• Fluent in English; speaking and writing.

Considered a plus, but not required:

• Animation knowledge (e.g. After Effects or similar).
• Able to design 2D and/or 3D illustrations.
• Coding knowledge.
• Experience conducting user testing sessions.
• Fluent in Swedish.
