The key to Pirate’s future success is underpinned by our Tech and Product evolution, which sends us on a search for a data-driven Senior UX Design Manager, introduced to lead Pirate’s continuous reimagining of our end to end user flows alongside an iterative new brand rollout, all for our incredibly diverse community of artists.

This is a critical hire for Pirate and addition to owning these game changing projects, will be ultimately responsible for being the:

Visionary of strategic UX
Innovator of best practices, scalable workflows and processes, delivering value from discovery through to implementation
Leader of improving CVR and driving upsell behaviour
Inspirational manager of a small team of design and product enthusiasts
Interpreter of customer and business needs

The search is on for candidates that are self starters, obsessed with the details and able to switch gears quickly. With innovation, improvement and experimentation always on the mind, you must be super organised, able to prioritise and get it done. We are looking for someone who can build scalable processes, has high commercial awareness with an ability to connect the work you do with how it affects the business strategy and bottom line.

This is a hands-on role in a thriving scale-up business, you need to bring your technical experience and be in the detail with us and willing to execute as the UX subject matter expert. The KPIs you will strive to hit include: CVR, NPS, SUS, task time/success and error rate.
