Product Designer for No-Code app builder
Stacker is on a mission to bring the power of software to everyone.
We let non-technical people build apps powered by their data.
Become our Product Designer, and change how software is made
About the role
This is about more than just making a product that looks nice and works well.
Our product lets people build their own apps.
That means that as well as creating a product that's intuitive and easy to use, we need to make sure that the apps our users build are beautiful and well designed.
That means that as well as designing the interfaces in our app builder really well, we also need to create a design system that's flexible enough to encompass all the interfaces that our users are creating, and make sure that they're excellent, regardless of their level of design literacy.
That means that design is key to our success.
This is a big challenge, but one we're really excited about.
You should have a strong aesthetic, and especially experience building complex, data-powered products.
You should feel comfortable creating visual designs, working in design systems, and also thinking about product from a much higher level.
If that sounds like you, then we'd love to talk!
This is a remote role but we are only hiring within Europe. This is to enable timezone alignment and occasional (2-3 times a year) physical meet-ups in the future. If you aren't living in Europe, please do not apply. And, as always: no recruiters!!

Mission-Oriented People Wanted
We've got a big mission: we want to give everybody the ability to create software, whether they can code or not. And it's no secret that we've got a long way to go to get there. That's why we're not looking for consultants, contractors or general mercenaries. If you're passionate about making change in the world, this might be the place for you. 🚀
It's Real. But It's Still Early.
This isn't a just a mad dream. We're on our way to this. We've already got hundreds of organizations running Stacker apps who love the platform. And we're backed by Y Combinator & Initialized Capital.
But it's still early enough that you can make a real difference. We're a small focused team at the start of a huge journey. Help us make it happen!
We're Solving Hard Problems. Really.
We know, we know: basically every tech startup says this. But I think we've got a pretty decent claim.
We are unifying data from multiple data sources inside and outside organizations to allow business users to create the apps they need to get their work done.
We're building an app runtime that lets you specify an entire app in a bunch of JSON config and have it run as a real-time single page app.
We're taking the features common across all business systems and turning them into installable modules that work seamlessly together.
We're trying to not only create one product that is intuitive and beautiful, but flexibility to allow our users to build apps that are beautiful by default and are customisable to the finest level.
And that's all before breakfast. 💪
Come And Work From Wherever You Are
We have always been a remote team. Not corona-remote, but remote by choice. We get together (when safe) a few times a year but apart from that, we do all our work remotely, via Stacker, Slack, Notion, and Zoom. We like it that way.
Whatever Your Background
We want to build a team with as diverse perspectives, skills, passions and backgrounds as we can.
We're not worried about the number of years you've worked or how much formal education you've had. We're looking for bright, kind and passionate people who care about bringing the power of software to the world.
👉If you're excited about our mission, but worried that you don't have enough experience, or won't fit in, please apply anyway! 👈
